We are marking the completion of 16th Street construction with a big evening of live music, local business specials, student activities, and art along the street.

The night kicks off with UNC's Marching Band and Spirit Groups on the Green, followed by an official Ribbon Cutting with the Mayor Pro-Tem and City leaders. Then, the concert begins with an opening act before up-and-coming indie rock group Neon The Bishop closes out the night.

Throughout the evening, 16th Street businesses will be hosting event-only specials, student activities in local shops, and the 3rd Annual WeldWalls Mural Festival's Art Night Out will bring murals, artist talks, and more

This event is free to attend and open to everyone.
