First Friday: A Night of Art
First Friday: A Night of Art is a great opportunity to visit local galleries and businesses featuring rotating artwork. Held the first Friday of each month from 5-8pm (unless otherwise noted), it is a self-guided tour of the participating galleries and businesses.

Atlas Theater and John Galt Coffee Co present " different PERSPECTIVES" featuring 13 artists reimagining the classics. Show runs August-September.
Greeley Game Night at Boomer House (1024 8th Street)
Boomer's Hook and Ladder Club (50+) - Join Greeley Game Night at Boomer House from 1-5pm for their First Friday gaming for adults over 50. Meet new friends over card games and nostalgic games from their collection or yours. Please RSVP! Non-member entry fee: $9. Become a member for big savings. Friday Afternoon All-Ages Gaming - Join your host Amy from 1-5pm for all-ages gaming. Come learn one of the many games in their library or bring your own and teach them! This is the perfect event for homeschooling families and a great after-school activity. They also have private rooms available for D&D groups (contact them to reserve your room). Players 10 and up may be dropped off. Parents must stay and play with kids 9 and under. Parents, please review the Code of the Gamer with your kid! Non-member entry fee: $9. Kids 9 and under: Free. Madison & Main Gallery (927 16th Street)
The title of the newest show at the Madison & Main Gallery is “Autumn Breeze”. The show includes pieces designed specifically around the trees, leaves, landscapes and the winds of autumn. It is meant to inspire artistic creativity around the many events and holidays that happen during this time of year. Come into the gallery and experience the new creations they have for you.
The slate of guest artists are Leah Simmons DeCapio – pottery, Megan Holloway – mixed media figures, Amy Mattox – oils, Dale Netherton – mixed media assemblage, Nancee Sebenaler – pastels, Dianna Stark – handmade paper with decoration, Jenifer Suydam – raku, wood fired, pit fired, and horsehair pottery.
On First Friday, September 1 the gallery will have an Opening Reception from 5-8 pm. Please come and meet the guest artists and gallery artists.

Syntax Distillery and Cocktail Bar (700 6th Street)
Syntax Distillery and Cocktail Bar will present Live, Professional Comedy from 7:30-9pm. It is comedy with no cover! Come see a rotating selection of local and traveling professional comics, hosted and hand-picked by local entertainer Tobias Livingston of Meanderthal Productions. Doors at 7:30, show starts at 8 pm.
