July 17th – Dank We were lucky to snap up this Atlanta band during theirn 2015 tour. Dank, formerly Dank Sinatra, is the next installment in what is a long and storied history of Rock and Roll music. Combining rhythm and blues tradition with a modern sense of urgency and experimentation, Dank is pulling Rock music into the 21st century as it was meant to be heard and experienced. With energetic and unpredictable live performances, as well as a knack for the studio and all of its wizardry, this Atlanta five-piece is showing fans what it takes to rock in the torrid seas of a post-Napster musical climate. It's hard to pin down exactly what the Dank will become, or how far the band has come to get to where it is today, but at the core of this outfit is a red hot soul and a burning sense of modern day Rock and Roll magic.
July 24th – Greeley Arts Picnic Kickoff with the highly anticipated annual return of Funkiphino. Colorado's Funk Sensation. Pronounced "Funk-If-I-Know". The band is THE most requested group in the region. Everyone asks if Funkiphino is coming back this year. The answer is YES!
July 31st – Brothers of the Son out of Golden, Colorado. What is Southern Rock, Colorado Style? It's a Western invention. Think of it as a mixing of classic Southern Rock attitude with the unbridled ethics of the Colorado music scene as viewed through the eyes of a bunch of Colorado guys (and gal!) that have played together for more than 30 years. They strongly identify with the roots of real Country, Rock and Blues. Influences such as Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Allman Brothers more drive their twin lead guitars, keys and a rockin' rhythm section which sets the stage for strong vocals. Their shows range from blistering rock to acoustic ballads all played and performed with passion and expertise. Check out their faceboo page HERE!
