Downtown Greeley Announces the NEW FRIDAY FEST for 2014!!!
Join us for Friday Fest EVERY Friday evening from 5-10pm, May 2nd through September 19th! Take advantage of the Colorado's first and only "Go-Cup" Entertainment Area - and enjoy many nights of great music and fun for the family on the 9th Street Plaza.

May 2nd - Kick off Friday Fest 2014 with Mama Lenny and the Remedy! We'll also be celebrating National Tourism Week with Visit Greeley!
May 9th- My Blue Sky - Honoring the music of the Allman Brothers Family of Bands. High Country Motor Sports is our sponsor for this incredible night. Close your eyes and you'll swear you're back in time listening to the Allman Brothers themselves.
May 16th - A return performance with Chris Daniels and the Kings! Chris and his band rocked the plaza last year and we invited them back for 2014. You may not know that Chris's life was saved by a bone marrow transplant a few years ago and we'll have a representative at Friday Fest sharing information about how you can become a bone marrow donor and save a life!
May 23th - This will be a very special evening of interesting and intriguing entertainment as the City of Greeley launches the next phase of their "Greeley Unexpected" image campaign. Get up and boogie to the sounds of the Moses Jones Band returning to the Friday Fest stage by popular demand!
May 30th - Put your best danicing shoes on for some salsa dancing with Denver's favorite salsa band, Kizumba. Sponsored by the local State Farm office of Nicolas Lezama and Pres Montoya Real Estate, this promises to be a hot night with this 12 piece salsa orchestra!
June 6th- Local favorite horn band, The Burroughs, will blow you away! They rocked the Moxi Theater for New Year's Eve like Greeley has never seen. Come experience them for yourselves, they are dedicated to making you dance! Opening up for The Burroughs will be special guests, The Other Black - a new sensation from the Denver area.
June 13th - Every year the Greeley Blues Jam celebrates their theme "It Ain't Nothin' But a Party" with a huge kickoff downtown Friday Night. This year won't disappoint with The Ori Naftaly Band, "Israel's Best Blues Act 2013" and semi-finalists in the 29th International Blues Competition in Memphis. Ori will be playing on the plaza from 6-9, followed by 13 bands in 13 different downtown venues until the wee hours of the morning. Don't miss one of the biggest nights of the year! Come early to see local favorite, Blue Recluse featuring Shawntel Royale, open up for The Ori Naftaly Band at 5:00!
June 20th - The Greeley Stampede will celebrate their upcoming season with a big kick-off downtown. Come check out the Tyler Walker Band - winners of 97.9's "Big Country's Got Talent" competition! Check them out in THIS VIDEO!
June 27th -Join our sponsor, Startek, for a beach party! Put on your flip-flops and come to a tropical island party with the Carribean island sounds of The Tropical Coyotes. From calypso to Jimmy Buffet, Latin sounds to Beach Boys, the Tropical Coyotes will bring the beach to you!
July 4th - After the parade and the barbecue, head downtown for free music before the fireworks. We supply the 4th of July party with music by The Atomic Brass Project. You might not even need fireworks after a night of this red hot dance music!
July 11th- Feel the love with the sexy, soulful groove of Buckner Funkenjazz.
July 18th - Pay tribute to the soul and grace of Santana with Soul Sacrifice. Sponsored by our good friends at Ehrlich Toyota and local employer, Afni!
July 25th - Annual Greeley Arts Picnic Kick-off Concert with your favorite, Funkiphino. They really bring the party to the Arts Picnic kickoff stage every year!
August 1st - Can't get to New Orleans? New Orleans comes to you! Gumbo Lefunque is a band so dirty, so funky, so dangerous you'll slap yo'self for not playing their music since you were the size of a small dog. This is funky-dangerous party music.
August 8th -If you missed the Moses Jones Band or Funkiphino, this is another chance to get your funky groove on with Mr. J and the Smooth Expressions. "Mr J" is actually Moses Jones, so you know the funky dance groove will be goin' on.
August 15th - Noble Energy sponsors a rock band this evening and will conduct a fundraiser with all proceeds going to "A Woman's Place" ... Greeleys women's shelter. Dance to the rock n roll variety sounds of Shaving Peggy.
August 22nd -They ROCKED the Arts Picnic this year! Golden Oldies, Beach, Motown, Country, Jazz, Rock, Funk, Rythm and Blues, and Contemporary, Soul School brings it all to the stage. Additionally, you can be the first crowd outside of Denver to experience "Oh Heck Yeah" an fun, innovative, interactive and immersive street arcade brought to you by The Tribune!!!
August 29th - Brothers of the Son is a six piece band that embodies the spirit and emotion of Southern Rock, Colorado Style. What is Southern Rock, Colorado Style? It's a Western invention. It's the mixing of classic Southern Rock attitude with the unbridled ethic of the Colorado music scene as viewed through the eyes of a bunch of Colorado boys (and girl!) that have played together for thirty years. Brought to you in part by College Credit Union!
September 5th -Bandwagon Block Party night. Stay tuned to see what awesome bands Ely Corliss from the Moxi has up his sleeve for this one! Brought to you in part by BNI Networking.- Romia Pritchett.
September 12th - We're going to raise the roof with Raising Cain, Colorado's premier dance and variety band. Classy, dazzling, ultra-fun and supremely entertaining with choreagraphy and dance moves too!
September 19th - My Favorite Bands Festival Kick-off. Three different bands covering three of their favorite bands to give you a taste of what's in store for you the next day in Lincoln Park.
We have once again partnered with High Country Beverage, who brings us Coors, Corona Light and Mike's Hard Lemonade
Svedak Vodka and Red Bull Energy Drinks also return as Friday Fest partners this year!
