Trick or Treat Street 2020

After initially being hopeful we could proceed with Trick-or-Treat Street, originally scheduled for Friday, October 30th, the Greeley Downtown Development Authority (DDA) regrettably announces that the event will be cancelled.

"Trick-or-Treat Street is one of our favorite events to put on and we considered every option to make it work, but ultimately there was no way we could ensure a safe event," says Executive Director Bianca Fisher. "In a normal year, we typically see several thousand trick-or-treaters and fear the crowd may be even bigger this year due to other event cancellations. We simply cannot risk the health and safety of our children and their families especially knowing how diligent our schools have been and a mere 2 positive COVID cases is cause for school closure. We hope everyone can enjoy a safe, fun time trick-or-treating in neighborhoods with family and friends in small group sizes. We look forward to welcoming all of the trick-or-treating ghosts and goblins back next year."
