City Of Greeley

  • The City of Greeley is operating with modified public access to select city facilities. Greeley officials believe certain city facilities can offer some in-person services with safety measures in place to protect the health, safety, and future of the community while complying with state public health direction. While some facilities offer select in-person services, other city facilities cannot yet safely allow public access. Those facilities will remain closed to public access until further notice. City officials will continue monitoring the COVID-19 situation to determine the best ways to begin allowing public access at those facilities. City staff will continue to offer remote access — by internet, phone, and mail where appropriate — to community members who wish to use those options. In all cases, city officials ask visitors to maintain physical distancing, cover their coughs and sneezes, and wear a face cover. Anyone with COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms — a fever, cough, or shortness of breath — should not enter city facilities. To find more information about access to City of Greeley services and facilities, go to their website.
  • Greeley City Council Regular City Council meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6pm - Until further notice, the public is encouraged to watch remotely on the City of Greeley YouTube Channel. Residents can submit their input, comments, and questions via any time up to and throughout the meeting. The clerk on duty will regularly check for public input and questions throughout the citizen input portion of the meeting, and during any scheduled public hearings, and read the comments into the record in real time. Residents are also welcome to submit citizen input or public comments and questions in writing by sending those to the City Clerk’s Office, 1000 10th Street, Greeley, CO, 80631. Mailed comments must be received no later than the day of the scheduled city council meeting. Those comments and questions will also be read into the record during the meeting.
  • Greeley City Council Worksessions on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 6pm - Until further notice, the public is encouraged to watch remotely on the City of Greeley YouTube Channel. Public input will not be taken during these meetings.
  • City of Greeley Farmers' Market - The Winter Farmers’ Market will take place on the first and third Saturdays of the month, November through mid-May at Zoe's Café & Events (715 10th Street). Community members can shop for local food and products from 9am-Noon. This season features a great lineup of vendors. Shoppers will enjoy hardy root crops, winter squash, greenhouse-grown produce, locally raised meat, fresh bread, coffee, honey, savory spices, and more. To create a safe market experience, officials encourage visitors to follow the below COVID-19 shopping advice:
    - Wear a mask
    - Have an idea/list of what you need
    - Wash your hands
    - Limit what you touch
    - Stay a least 6 FT away from other people who are not from your household
    - Don’t eat at the market
Additionally, to support shopping with a purpose and minimize social gathering the market will not include entertainment or kids activities this year. Visit the website for additional information.
  • Greeley-Evans Transit - Buses are running more frequently for extended hours. However, safety precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19 prevent GET from operating at normal service levels and limit the capacity of buses. Special Monday through Friday hours of 5:55am-7:15pm. Normal Saturday operating hours: 6:50am- 6:15pm. Normal Sunday operation consisting of only Call-N-Ride services from 7:30am-1:30pm. Monday through Saturday, after scheduled buses stop, call and rides services will operate from 6:35-9pm. Bus service on Route 1 will increase frequency and buses will come every 30 minutes. For an updated bus schedule, visit www.greeleyevanstransit.com or call 970-350-9290. For the protection of GET drivers and passengers GET officials will restrict all buses to half capacity.
