Events Throughout the Year

First Friday: Spend a Night on the Town

Every first Friday of each month, starting at 5 pm, the First Friday offers an evening of art shows by local artists, artist’s receptions, unique shopping, free live music, drink specials and museum tours.

Friday Fest

On several Fridays in June and July, the Greeley Downtown Development Authority presents Friday Fest, a free outdoor concert on the 9th Street Plaza. This event includes food booths and a plaza-long beer garden.

Rio Grande Summer Concert Series

The Rio Concert Series, another free concert series, runs Sat. nights, from July to mid-August.

Arts Picnic

Arts Picnic is held the last weekend in July. The Arts Picnic offers a kick-off concert Friday evening, artist and crafter booths, two full days of entertainment , a beer garden, and a hands-on kids’ area.

Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest is held the last Friday and Saturday in September. Friday night is a rock concert, with food booths and a beer garden. On Saturday, enjoy brats, beer, brats and much more, in historic Lincoln Park!

Trick or Treat Street

The Greeley Jaycees presents Trick or Treat Street on Halloween (Oct. 30). Businesses in the core downtown district offer candy and treats to kids.

Greeley Lights the Nights

Several community organizations come together to light up Lincoln Park, from the Saturday after Thanksgiving through the beginning of January. Enjoy the holiday lights parade on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The parade starts at 5:30 pm and runs 9th Ave., from 15th to 7th Street. The opening ceremony for Greeley Lights the Nights is at 6:30 pm in Greeley Downtown’s Historic Lincoln Park.
